Alisa’s Dance Academy offers a Student Teaching Assistant (STA) program that inspires young adults to become responsible and respectful; giving them the opportunity to succeed in creating well rounded life skills.

 

Our Student Teaching Assistants are invited to participate in the program based on teacher recommendations, technical ability, and maturity. They must also be responsible and respectful to fellow classmates as well as students they are assisting, and loyal to the studio. STA’s are trained not only to assist in classes but also how to correctly instruct students.

 

Becoming a STA is a great opportunity. They learn time management, how to multi-task, how to handle great responsibility, and gain social skills. There is a limited amount of STA positions available and candidates must meet all requirements. Remember that Student Teaching Assistants must have had prior dance training and have achieved an intermediate or above level of ability.
